The original daytripper, hipper than the big dipper. Mission: Make the whole wide world right.

Imorgon smäller det kl 22 på Marie Laveau! Idjuts är i stan med sin dubtunga skäggdisco. En kortare något äldre biografi saxat från oldies.com:
"A quirky UK DJing and production team based in London, England comprising Dan Tyler and Conrad McDonnell who play an eclectic blend of disco, dub, funk, jazz and deep house. They have also recorded with their Nuphonic Records label-mates, Faze Action as the Fazed Idjuts. They originally met in Cambridge and discovered a mutual interest in offbeat forms of dance music and were inspired by DJ Harvey’s sets at the Tonka events in Brighton, Sussex. They relocated to London and staged their own U-Star parties, bringing over US DJing stars such as Hector Romero and Ted Patterson from New York to compliment their ‘twisted disco’ sound. They began to DJ internationally and formed U-Star Records, releasing their own unusual recordings including the Not Reggae and Quakerman EPs. They were pleased to find them played by their own DJing heroes such as François Kevorkian. They have completed numerous remixes for acts such as the Lighthouse Family, Len and Sound 5. They released a debut Life - The Shoeing You Deserve on the Glasgow Underground label in 1999 which received widespread critical acclaim. As track titles such as ‘Tea Tray Formerly Known As Coffee Table’ and ‘Frogs Arrrse’ suggest, the duo bring a similar punk ethic (i.e. a humorous, DIY non-commercial approach) to dance music to that of Basement Jaxx or the Ninja Tune Records label. In 2000, they released a mix compilation Saturday Nite Live a mix spanning 25 years of dance music from disco to house. Many of the tracks are re-edited and dubbed by the Idjuts themselves before going into the mix."
